Investigators have located and notified the next of kin and have positively identified the victim.

Detectives have not determined a cause of the fire but say it is not suspicious.

Detectives investigate a fatal fire in Seminole apartment building.

When:
The fire began at about 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

Where:
The fire occurred at the Seminole Gardens apartments located at 8533 110th Street North in Seminole

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Arson/Auto Theft Unit are investigating a fatal fire at the Seminole Gardens apartments in Seminole.

Deputies responded to the location to assist Seminole Fire Rescue with an active fire at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

According to investigators, one person, has been pronounced deceased and six apartments have been involved in the fire.

Next of kin has not been notified. Further updates will be provided via media alert.

The investigation continues.
