Business Watch
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Business Watch establishes relationships among small businesses and the sheriff's office within unincorporated Pinellas County and our contract cities. The purpose of Business Watch is to reduce opportunity for crime and allow business personnel to act as eyes and ears for the sheriff's office.
Benefits of Joining Business Watch
- Registration with the sheriff’s office, which enables PCSO to contact you immediately if there is a problem after regular business hours.
- Business property security inspections.
- Community business safety meetings.
- Personal safety presentations for your employees.
- Presentations at business association meetings on topics such as robbery, workplace violence, forgery/fraud, and identity theft.
- Business Watch emails about crime trends that affect your area.
- A business window decal that identifies your business as a member of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Business Watch.
How to Join
There is no cost to join. Simply complete the Business Watch online registration form (below). A deputy from the Crime Prevention and Community Awareness Unit will contact you in reference to your application. Remember, Business Watch is only available to unincorporated Pinellas County and contract cities.
