Director Jennifer Crockett
Jennifer S. Crockett joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 2012. She has worked in the General Counsel’s Office and the Office of the Sheriff. She was appointed Director of Public Relations in 2015. Her responsibilities include the Office of the Sheriff along with the three components in the Public Relations Bureau: the Crime Prevention and Community Awareness Unit, Communications and Public Education, and the Public Information Office.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Florida Southern College. She is a graduate of the Florida Sheriffs Association Commanders Academy Class Five, and she completed training and requirements under the Florida Center for Public Management at Florida State University for a Certificate in Supervisory Management and holds the designation of Certified Public Manager. Prior to joining the sheriff’s office, she worked with the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.
