Captain Kimon Koungras

Captain Koungras joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 2002 and is the commander of the Emergency Management Division. He has been the Special Services Section commander, patrol shift commander, Administrative Investigation Division commander, Administrative Investigation Division sergeant, Community Policing Unit sergeant, Special Services Section sergeant, Judicial Operations Bureau sergeant, and a Field Training Deputy. Captain Koungras attended St. Petersburg College and is a graduate of the Florida Criminal Justice Institute’s Florida Leadership Academy and Florida State University’s Public Manager program.
