Seminole Man Charged with First Degree Murder (26-072)
SEMINOLE – Detectives assigned to the Robbery & Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation in Seminole.
On August 10, 2026, at approximately 4:04 p.m., deputies responded after multiple 911 calls were received regarding an injured male covered in blood on the north side of 86th Avenue North. When deputies arrived on scene, the male, identified as 52-year-old Jason Suhadolnik, was being treated by paramedics. Deputies entered the residence located at 9549 86th Avenue North and observed Jason’s mother, 82-year-old Patty Suhadolnik, on the kitchen floor, covered and surrounded by a significant amount of blood. Patty and Jason were transported to the hospital, where Patty was pronounced deceased.
Through the investigation, detectives learned that a violent altercation ensued with a knife, causing fatal injuries to Patty and injuries to Jason’s hands.
Detectives charged Jason with First Degree Murder and Violation of Probation, and he was taken into custody. Jason will be transported to the Pinellas County Jail once he is released from the hospital.
Next of kin has been notified.
The investigation continues.
