Seminole Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography (26-004)

SEMINOLE – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Seminole man for Possession of Child Pornography.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving a tip that child pornography was being accessed via the internet. Through investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 56-year-old Carlos Castellanos Gomez.

According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old.

On January 7, 2026, Gomez was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Gomez was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

The investigation continues.
