Deputies Arrest St. Petersburg Man for Possession and Transmission of Child Pornography (25-105)

St. Petersburg – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a St. Petersburg man for Possession and Transmission of Child Pornography.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 43-year-old Elias David Elias.

According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of 2 and 14-years-old. Elias was also viewing videos of sexual activity involving animals.

On August 29, 2025, Elias was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, 10 counts of Transmission of Child Pornography and 2 counts of Sexual Activity Involving Animals.

Elias was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
