Detectives Arrest Gulfport Man For Possession of Child Pornography (25-146)

GULFPORT- Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Gulfport man for Possession of Child Pornography.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 31-year-old Jacob Alexander Van Ardoy.

According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of one and thirteen years old.

On December 10, 2025, Van Ardoy was arrested and charged with eight counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Van Ardoy was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

The investigation continues.
