Seminole Man Arrested for Possession of Videos of Sexual Activity Involving Animals and Possession of Child Pornography (25-041)

SEMINOLE – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) arrested a Seminole man for Possession of Child Pornography and Possession of Videos of Sexual Activity Involving Animals.
On November 19, 2024, detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 39-year-old Juan Michael Contreras.
According to detectives, the images were of a child approximately six years old. Detectives also located images of adult males and females engaging in intercourse with dogs.
On April 15, 2025, detectives interviewed Contreras, who admitted to viewing the images of child pornography and bestiality. Contreras was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography and three counts of Sexual Activity with Animals. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation continues.
