Three Students Arrested for Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information and Written Threats to Commit a Mass Shooting (25-022)
PALM HARBOR – On February 27, 2025, detectives assigned to the Threat Management Division arrested a Safety Harbor Middle School Student for Written Threats to Conduct a Mass Shooting and Criminal Use of Personal Identification. Detectives also arrested two additional Palm Harbor Middle School Students for Criminal Use of Personal Identification.
According to detectives, Safety Harbor Middle School student Karter Craft logged into another student’s Pinellas County Schools Student Information System portal account (FOCUS) and sent threatening messages to a Palm Harbor Middle School teacher stating, “im gonna shoot the school up tomorrow be ready…” Detectives made contact with Craft, who admitted to sending the messages.
Through their investigation, detectives also identified two Palm Harbor Middle School students, 12-year-old Jarvis Burcham, and 14-year-old Braxton Green, who logged into the same FOCUS account. Craft was arrested and charged with one count of Written Threats to Commit a Mass Shooting and one count of Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information. Burcham and Green were arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information.
