Detectives Arrest Largo Man for Possession of Child Pornography (25-044)

LARGO – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) arrested a Largo man for Possession of Child Pornography.
On January 29, 2025, detectives began an investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 18-year-old Alex Diaz. According to detectives, the images were of children who were approximately 10 years old.
On April 23, 2025, Diaz was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation continues.
