PINELLAS COUNTY – On August 22, 2023, detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit arrested a St. Petersburg man for Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, Promoting Sexual Performance by a Child, Possession of Child Pornography, and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.
According to detectives, their investigation began after a woman reported that a man known to her molested her child. Detectives say the suspect, later identified as 28-year-old Kyle Kiley, touched the child inappropriately and recorded it on his cellphone. The woman located the videos on Kiley’s cellphone and immediately reported the incident to law enforcement.
Kiley was arrested and transported to the Pinellas County Jail, where he has remained since his arrest.
Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives also located over one hundred and sixty images and three videos of bestiality on Kiley’s cellphone. Detectives say Kiley performed sexual acts on a small black and white French Bulldog. The videos depict Kiley masturbating the dog and rubbing its penis against his (Kiley’s) lips. The dog is not owned by Kiley and had no visible injuries.
On September 7, 2023, detectives added the additional charges of Sexual Activity Involving Animals and Kiley remains in the Pinellas County Jail.
