23-098 Multiple Pinellas County Agencies Complete Active Assailant Mass Casualty Exercise

PINELLAS COUNTY - On Thursday, July 20, 2023, multiple Pinellas County agencies participated in an Active Assailant Mass Casualty Exercise. The exercise was held at Seminole Middle School/Seminole High School located at 8401 131st Street N/8701 131st Street N in Seminole.

Several law enforcement agencies, fire departments, Sunstar, Pinellas County 9-1-1, Emergency Management, EMS, and the Pinellas County School Board participated. Sheriff Gualtieri, the Pinellas County Schools Superintendent, Kevin Hendrick, and the St. Petersburg Fire Department Division Chief of Safety and Training Richard Ganci, held a press conference as the exercise was concluding.
