PINELLAS COUNTY – Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are investigating the death of 40-year-old inmate Harry Dussaman.

Detectives say Dussaman was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on July 29, 2022, after being arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Methamphetamine

Detectives learned on October 27, 2022, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Dussaman was transported to the hospital for medical reasons. Dussaman’s condition declined, and on October 28, 2022 at approximately 12:23 a.m., he was pronounced deceased.

At this point in the investigation, detectives have found no evidence that Dussaman was involved in any physical altercations or sustained any injuries while incarcerated at the jail.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will work to determine the cause and manner of death.

Dussaman’s next of kin has been notified.

The investigation continues.
