Mauge was found safe in Tampa at approximately 7:00 p.m., by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Mauge has been reunited with family and the silver alert has been canceled.

What:
Deputies assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Oldsmar man.

When:
The man was last seen on Friday, January 22, 2021 at approximately 12:00 p.m.

Where:
The man was last seen leaving his home at 307 Country Club Drive in Oldsmar and was driving to Wendy’s at 4066 Tampa Road.

Why/How:
Deputies assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Oldsmar man.

According to investigators, 85-year-old Alvin Mauge, left his residence at 307 Country Club Drive in Oldsmar on Friday, January 22, 2021 at approximately 12:00 p.m. He was driving to the Wendy’s at 4066 Tampa Road for food and has not returned home. Mauge suffers from memory issues and gets lost when driving home.

Mauge is described as a 5’5” tall white male with a thin build of 127 lbs. He has gray hair and was last seen wearing sunshade glasses, a United States Air Force hat, a burgundy long sleeve shirt, and gray cargo shorts.

Deputies say he was last seen driving his blue Dodge Durango which has a large dent on the driver’s front quarter panel and has Florida tag 6124UX.

Mauge has been entered into NCIC/FCIC as a missing endangered adult and a Silver Alert has been issued.

Anyone with information on Mauge’s whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.
