Sheriff Bob Gualtieri has hired Ms. Kowalski to the Public Information Office
(PIO) as a PIO Assistant Manager.
Corporal Chuck Skipper, with the Public Information Office since March 3, 2019, has transferred and been reassigned as a deputy in the Crime Prevention and Community Awareness Unit.

When:
Ms. Kowalski's assignment to the Public Information Office was effective on Sunday, January 17, 2021.

Where:
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Public Information Office is located in the Sheriff's Administration Building at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

Why/How:
Ms. Kowalski has joined the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office as PIO Assistant Manager.

Prior to assuming her duties in PIO, Ms. Kowalski spent almost two decades in both federal and local government service and will be a great attribute to the agency.

Ms. Kowalski has a Master's Degree in Public Administration from George Mason University.
