Deputies arrest 32-year-old Robert White, on charges of Escape, Trespass After Warning, Drug Possession, and Burglary in Madeira Beach.
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, at approximately 2:18 a.m., deputies responded to a trespass call at the Schooner Motel located at 14500 Gulf Boulevard in Madeira Beach.
Deputies placed White into custody for trespass after warning and possession of crack cocaine. During a prisoner transfer at 14995 Gulf Boulevard, White, who had repositioned his handcuffs to the front of his body, escaped custody and fled on foot while still wearing handcuffs. White was last seen by deputies running southbound, toward the beach.
Deputies responded to the area and at approximately 9:03 a.m., on Thursday, June 6, 2019, White, still handcuffed, was taken into custody in front of 14201 Bayshore Boulevard.
White was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
