The incident occurred at the victim’s home located at 9500 Hamlin Boulevard #1206, unincorporated Seminole

Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are conducting a death investigation in a domestic related incident in unincorporated Seminole.
At about 3:23 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017, deputies responded to a 911 call from a female caller located at 9500 Hamlin Boulevard #1206, unincorporated Seminole. Detectives say the caller identified as 52-year-old Mary Pender-Michielson had reported her husband 41-year-old Bruce Michielson sustained a knife wound to his chest during a domestic related argument.
When deputies arrived they found Bruce Michielson unresponsive. He was transported by Bay flight to Bayfront Hospital.
Bruce Michielson was pronounced deceased at 4:40 a.m. at Bayfront Hospital.
Mary Pender-Michielson was transported via ambulance to a local hospital for a non-trauma related medical complaint.
Next of kin has been notified.
This continues to be an open and on-going investigation.
