A Pinellas County Deputy has been arrested following a domestic related dispute.
Where:
The incident occurred at a residence in Oldsmar. Per Florida Statute 119.071(4)(c)(2) no further details on the occurred location will be released.
When:
Deputies responded to the residence at about 1:36 p.m. on March 11, 2016. Deputy Nassiri was arrested at about 4:45 p.m. on March 11, 2016.
How/Why:
A Pinellas County Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested following a domestic related dispute.
According to deputies, they responded to an undisclosed residence in Oldsmar regarding a report of a domestic related dispute. When deputies arrived they determined that off-duty Deputy James Nassiri and his spouse had engaged in an argument at their residence.
Deputies say that Deputy Nassiri’s spouse sustained minor injuries to her arm during the course of the argument.
Deputy Nassiri was arrested and charged with one count of domestic battery. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.
The investigation continues.
