What:
Deputies have released the results of the Labor Day Weekend joint DUI Wolf Pack.
When:
Pinellas County deputies along with various other local law enforcement agencies conducted the DUI Wolf Pack from 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 until 5:00 a.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015.
Where:
Deputies monitored traffic throughout Pinellas County.
Why/How:
In an effort to reduce DUI related injuries and deaths, Pinellas County deputies along with several other law enforcement agencies conducted a DUI Wolf Pack operation in Pinellas County overnight.
The results are as follows:
Criminal Charges:
19 DUI's
6 Misdemeanor Driving while license suspended and/or revoked with knowledge / No valid D/L
4 Possession of a Controlled Substance (Misdemeanor)
3 Second Refusal to Submit to Breath Test
1 Felony Battery on LEO
1 Resisting Arrest without Violence
2 Possession of Alcohol under 21
1 Leaving the Scene of Crash with Property Damage
1 Uttering Forged Instrument (Felony)
1 Possession Drug Paraphernalia
1 Expired DL more than 6 month (Criminal)

The operation was part of the Sheriff's Office on-going commitment to reduce deaths, injuries, and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving. The goal of a Wolf Pack is to educate drivers and create public awareness about the dangers of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and any chemical or controlled substances.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office will be conducting DUI Wolf Packs continuously throughout the year.
