Detectives assigned to the Special Victims Unit have arrested a Clearwater man for Possession of Child Pornography.

The suspect was arrested at his private residence located at 2228 Morningside Drive, Clearwater.
Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Special Victims Unit have arrested a Clearwater man for ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
According to detectives, their investigation began on March 18, 2015 after receiving a tip that the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Cutberto Barcenas-Gress was in possession of child pornography.
Through various investigative techniques it was determined that Barcenas-Gress was intentionally downloading child pornography. Detectives met with Barcenas-Gress on July 30, 2015 and he admitted to the allegations.
During their investigation, detectives recovered various images and videos that included sexual conduct by children.
Barcenas-Gress was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail, where he currently is being held on $1,000,000 bond.
The investigation continues.
