Why/How:
Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team are investigating a crash involving a deputy. Deputy Blumberg was travelling west bound on Park Boulevard. Jonathan Roberts was travelling south bound on Johnson Boulevard and attempted to make a left hand turn onto Park Boulevard to head east bound. The vehicles collided in the center of the intersection.
Roberts was transported via ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol or drugs are not a factor of the crash.
