St. Pete Beach Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography (24-001)
ST. PETE BEACH – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a St. Pete Beach man for possession of child pornography.
Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 36-year-old Steven Ryan Gilmore.
According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of one and six years old.
On January 11, 2024, detectives arrested Gilmore and charged him with ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography, ten counts of Transmission of Child Pornography, and one count of Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.
Gilmore was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
