Major Jennifer Love

Major Jennifer Love joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 1999 after three years with the Florida Highway Patrol. She commands the Human Resources Bureau, which provides comprehensive human resources-related support for the agency including employment (recruitment, selection, and background investigations), compensation, performance evaluations, benefits, wellness initiatives, retirement, workers compensation, Sheriff’s Leadership Institute, and HRIS programming. During her tenure with the sheriff’s office she has served as a school resource deputy, DUI unit deputy, Major Accident Investigation Team member, field training officer, Sexual Predator and Offender Tracking sergeant, Human Resources sergeant, Patrol sergeant, Field Training Unit coordinator, Administration Investigation sergeant and lieutenant, Patrol Support Services lieutenant, Special Operations Division commander, and Support Services Bureau major. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College and is a Certified Public Manager.
