Detectives Arrest Tarpon Springs Man for Possession of Child Pornography (24-106)
TARPON SPRINGS – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Tarpon Springs man for possession of child pornography.
Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 26-year-old Samuel Pedraza-Garcia.
According to detectives, the videos were of children between the ages of two and thirteen years old.
On August 13, 2024, detectives arrested Pedraza-Garcia and charged him with 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Pedraza-Garcia was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation continues.
