Detectives Arrest Seminole Man for Possession of Child Pornography and Sexual Activity Involving Animals (24-100)

Seminole - Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Seminole man for possession of child pornography and sexual activity involving animals.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and stored via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 44-year-old Robert Kalkofen.

According to detectives, the videos were of children between the ages of three months old and thirteen years old. In addition to the child pornography, detectives located a video depicting a child engaging in sexual activities with a donkey.

On July 31, 2024, detectives arrested Kalkofen and charged him with thirty counts of Possession of Child Pornography, ten counts of Sexual Activity Involving Animals, one count of Possession of Methamphetamine, and one count of Resisting an Officer Without Violence.

 Kalkofen was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
