Captain Jose Camacho

Captain Jose Camacho joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 1999 and is responsible for the Threat Management Division, which includes the Intelligence-Led Policing Unit, the Mass Casualty Planning Unit, and the Mental Health Unit. He has worked in the Department of Detention and Corrections, Patrol, the STAR Team, Strategic Enforcement Section, Violent Crimes Taskforce, Violent Offender Warrant Unit, Special Operations, Narcotics, and Property Crimes. He is a graduate of the Florida Sheriff’s Association Commanders Academy and the DEA Drug Unit Commander Academy.
