Captain Jose Camacho

Captain Jose Camacho joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 1999 and is responsible for facilities and administrative support. He has worked in patrol, the Department of Detention and Corrections, the STAR Team, Strategic Enforcement Section, Violent Crimes Taskforce, Violent Offender Warrant Unit, Special Operations, Narcotics, and Property Crimes, and was captain of the Threat Management Division. He is a graduate of the Florida Sheriff’s Association Commanders Academy and the DEA Drug Unit Commander Academy.
