Captain Greg Danzig

Captain Greg Danzig joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 2006 and is responsible for areas within the Support Services Bureau including the Communications Division, the Records Division, the Purchasing Division, and the Facilities Support Section. He has worked in Field Training, Strategic Enforcement, and the SWAT Team. He was the commander of the Training Division, Forensics Division, Special Operations Division, the SWAT Team, the Negotiator Response Team, and the Hurricane Deployment Team. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida, where he also served three years as a police officer at their Tampa Department. He is a graduate of the Florida State University Certified Public Management Program and the Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute for Police.
