Captain Freddie Hayes

Captain Freddie Hayes joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 2012 after serving in the United States Air Force, and is the commander of the Custody Management Division, which includes the Classification Section, Inmate Records Section, and Detention Investigations Unit. During his tenure with the sheriff’s office he has served as the Department of Detention and Corrections training sergeant, Honor Guard Officer in Charge, Corrections Response Team commander, and Support Services administrative lieutenant. He is the Honor Guard commander, and is a youth mentor for the St. Petersburg-based Men in the Making Program.
