Captain Adam Kinzel

Captain Adam Kinzel joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 2003 and serves as the Support Services Division captain for the Department of Detention and Corrections. He began his career as a Criminal Justice Specialist, then acquired certifications in both corrections and law enforcement. He is responsible for overseeing the department’s budget and is its contract administrator. He supervises the Visitation Center, the Transportation Unit, the Specialist Unit, Program Services, the Chaplain’s Office, Inmate Property, the Corrections Response Team and the Field Training and Evaluation Program for all newly hired staff.
