Seminole Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography (25-004)

SEMINOLE – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Seminole man for possession and transmission of child pornography.
Detectives began their investigation on August 15, 2024, after receiving
information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the
internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the
suspect as 36-year-old Austin Steele.
According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of two
and ten years old.
On January 15, 2025, Steele was arrested and charged with two counts of
Possession of Child Pornography and two counts of Transmission of Child
Pornography.
Steele was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation continues.
