PINELLAS COUNTY – Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are investigating the death of 74-year-old Milosov Stevanovic.


Detectives say Stevanovic was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on February 1, 2025, at 10:49 a.m., by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office for one count of Violation of Probation – Uttering Forged Check / Grand Theft, and one count of Violation of Probation Forgery / Petit Theft.


According to detectives, on February 7, 2025, at approximately 1:43 a.m., Stevanovic was transported to the hospital for medical reasons. While still at the hospital on February 10, 2025, at 3:53 p.m., Stevanovic was pronounced deceased.


At this point in the investigation, detectives have found no evidence that Stevanovic was involved in any physical altercations or sustained any injuries while incarcerated at the jail.


Stevanovic’s next of kin has been notified.


The investigation continues.
