According to investigators, 21-year-old Jolee-Ana Eaton was traveling west on 8th Avenue attempting to make a left hand turn to travel south on to Gulf way. Two pedestrians, 68-year-old Maria Rodriguez and  56-year-old Lynn Gilliland were crossing west to east on Gulf Way, not in a designated crosswalk, when they were struck with Eaton’s 2005 Nissan Pathfinder in the center of the roadway.
