Captain Jon Tobeck

Captain Jonathan Tobeck joined the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 2006 and oversees the Criminal Investigations Division, which includes the Property Crimes, Crimes Against Persons, and Tactical Investigations sections. He has worked in the Strategic Enforcement Section, the Violent Crimes Task Force, was a detective and sergeant in the Burglary and Pawn and Robbery and Homicide units, and a lieutenant in the Crimes Against Persons Section. Before working here he was with the Ft. Myers Police Department. He has a bachelor’s degree in public safety administration from St. Petersburg College and has taken part in the Police Executive Research Forum, Senior Management Institute for Police, and the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute Executive Leadership Seminar
