The Department of Detention and Corrections, Custody Management Division, is accepting transfer memos for the Detention Investigations Unit (DIU), for the position of Law Enforcement Detective.
Only non-probationary Certified Law Enforcement Deputies with no sustained formal disciplinary action within the last six months are eligible for this position.
All interested members must request transfer through their chain of command to Captain Amy Moyer. Members who meet the minimum qualifications will have their name certified to the resulting eligibility register. Closing date for memos will be no later than June 29, 2022.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION: • Must meet eligibility requirements pursuant to General Order 6-4a. • Must currently be a full-time Criminal Justice Specialist. • Flexible work schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and on call availability. • Must interact professionally with members of the public.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION: • Must meet eligibility requirements pursuant to General Order 6-4a. • Must be a non-probationary Deputy with a total of two (2) years’ certified experience in the Department of Detention and Corrections. • Possess a mechanical aptitude.
