The Department of Detention and Corrections is accepting memos for the position of Deputy in the Support Services Specialist Unit to fill an opening and to establish an eligibility list. Applicants must complete a memorandum of intent through their chain of command to Captain Brotchi.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
• Must meet eligibility requirements pursuant to General Order 6-4a.
• Must be a non-probationary Deputy with a total of two (2) years’ certified experience in the Department of Detention and Corrections.
• Possess a mechanical aptitude.
Members interested in applying for this position must submit a memorandum via chain of command to Captain Brotchi. Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office who meet the minimum qualifications will have their name certified to the resulting eligibility roster. Closing date for applications will be no later than August 10, 2022.
