The Patrol Operations Bureau - Community Policing Unit – Central District Station is accepting memos for the position of Community Policing Sergeant. This is a new position and will complement the existing Community Policing Sergeant. Additional questions can be directed to Lieutenant Tom Montgomery (727) 582- 5848 or tmontgomery@pcsonet.com.
All interested members must request transfer through their chain of command to Major Nick Lazaris, Patrol Operations Bureau. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member requesting the transfer shall contact Lieutenant Tom Montgomery at 582-5848. Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office who meet the qualifications will have their name certified to the resulting eligibility register. Closing date for applications will be no later than July 13, 2023
