We need 2 deputies to play tennis for the 2nd Annual Honor & Serve Charity Tennis & Pickleball Tournament benefitting Tunnel to Towers Foundation on Friday January 7th! It’s a good ol’ PD vs. FD tennis match. You do not need to be a tennis pro though, one will be provided! You will be paired with a tennis pro to play against a member from one of the local fire departments and their tennis pro partner. See attachments for more information. Road to Resiliency for Law Enforcement Families is a free one-day seminar held on February 26, 2022 from 9am to 4pm, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is included and childcare is available and provided by Generations Church. This seminar is open to all law enforcement officers and spouses. Topics include PTSD and other mental health disorders, signs and symptoms to look for in your spouse and yourself, how to mitigate the effects of stress and trauma, how to assess mental health resources for first responders, and steps you can take to better prepare yourself and your family for the toll a law enforcement career can have on a family's mental and emotional wellbeing.
