12/3/2018 Topic: Ride and Run with the Stars – Shopping Day Joseph Gerretz	This year’s Ride and Run with the Stars – Shopping Day is scheduled for Wednesday (December 12, 2018). The event will be held at the Target, located at 4450 Park Street North, St. Petersburg. Shopping will begin promptly at 06:30 a.m. All certified members are requested to wear their Class – A, long sleeve uniform with tie. Civilians may wear appropriate agency issued attire or casual business dress. All members must obtain prior supervisory approval, from their Chain of Command, prior to attending this event. 1/11/2020 Topic: Funeral of Officer Paul Dunn Joseph Gerretz	Our agency will be sending a contingent of members to Lakeland (Polk County) for the funeral of Officer Paul Dunn, who was killed in the line of duty, as a result of a traffic crash. The contingent will leave on January 15, 2020 at 09:00 am, from the SAB, and the services will begin at 12:00 pm. If you would like to represent the agency, please contact Lieutenant Joseph Gerretz at jgerretz@pcsonet.com, after obtaining your supervisor’s approval. The uniform of the day will be the Class – A long sleeve with tie, campaign hat, and black mourning band. 3/4/2021 Topic: PCSO FTO Challenge Coin Joseph Gerretz	The Law Enforcement Field Training Program has developed a PCSO FTO Challenge Coin (See Attachment) which has been approved for production. In an effort to cover the “Mold” and “Set-up” fee, the coins will be sold for $10.00 each and we need a minimum of (100) coins sold for the initial purchase. If you are interested in purchasing a PCSO FTO Challenge Coin, please contact Sergeant Chris Platt (727) 582-6797 or cplatt@pcsonet.com for prepayment arrangements.
