Pedestrian / Bicycle HVE Details

All law enforcement certified deputies interested in working the upcoming, Pedestrian/Bicycle High Visibility Enforcement details, are required to take a four (4) hour class sponsored by the Institute of Public Safety and Management (IPTM). The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Off will be hosting two (2) classes on January 25, 2019 in classroom 180. To register for one of the classes, go to SONET and search for “Available Classes” under the Training section. These are the only two classes offered at this time at the SAB. Please get approval via your Chain of Command and sign up as soon as possible. Contact Sergeant Blair with any questions.

HURRICANE DEPLOYMENT TEAM

Any member interested in joining or continuing to remain a member of the Hurricane Deployment Team for the 2019 Hurricane Season must email Corporal Todd Nellenbach at tnellenbach@pcsonet.com by Friday February 22nd. Annual training will be conducted prior to the start of the season. Members are reminded to have their tetanus shots up to date and that deployment time could be up to 14 days. Members of all ranks are needed as well as non-sworn Vehicle Maintenance and SWAT Medic personnel.

Saturday March 7th from 8am-2pm an Annual Neighborhood Garage sale will be held in the Countryside area of Woodgate I and II. This area is right off Belcher Road/Countryside- right passed the On Top of the World Condominiums on Belcher. Signs will be placed along the front entrance, so come and stop by!
