The Investigative Operations Bureau, Criminal Investigations Division is accepting transfer memos for the Crimes Against Children Unit, for the position of Detective, and to establish an eligibility list.
All interested members must request transfer through their chain of command to Major Larry Nalven, Investigative Operations Bureau. Members who are currently on the Criminal Investigations Eligibility list will still need to submit a memorandum. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member requesting transfer shall notify Lieutenant Dennis Garvey via email. Members who meet the qualifications will have their name certified to the resulting eligibility register and will be interviewed.
Closing date for memorandums will be no later than 1700hrs on November 1, 2019.

The Robbery/Homicide Unit has openings for the position of detective. The Robbery/Homicide Unit will now consist of two separate squads, which will allow for a new on-call rotation. This rotation will create a bi-weekly on-call schedule, resulting in an off-call status for two weeks a month.
