REF THE MESSAGE BELOW WHEN RUNNING TRANSACTIONS THROUGH FCIC/NCIC:
COMMUNICATIONS WITH DHSMV ARE EXPERIENCING UNUSUALLY HIGH VOLUMES OF TRANSACTIONS. PLEASE RETRY LATER.
I CALLED THE FDLE HELPDESK AND THEY ADVISED THAT DHSMV IS DOING DISASTER RECOVERY TESTING TODAY... IT BEGAN AROUND 1500 HRS TODAY... THE DAVID WEBSITE HAS THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION POSTED ABOUT THE TESTING:
Disaster Recovery Testing on from June 21st at 3PM through Sunday June 22nd at 10PM
The department will be conducting a Planned Production Disaster Recovery Failover from Saturday June 21st at 3PM through Sunday June 22nd at 10PM. During this time, you may experience intermittent outages. The department expects full outages during the times below for all services:
Saturday June 21st from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Sunday June 22nd from 12:15 AM to 6:15 PM
DAVID, FCIC Interface, and JIS will be down on Saturday June 21st from ~3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Sunday June 22nd from ~12:15 PM to 1:15 PM
