The Criminal Investigations Division is accepting memorandums to establish an eligibility list for the position of Robbery/Homicide Unit Detective. The Robbery/Homicide Unit consists of two separate squads working 10-hour shifts and have an on-call rotation, which provides an off-call status for two weeks a month. The detectives in the Robbery/Homicide Unit will be appointed to corporal while assigned to Robbery/Homicide and receive a fifteen percent Robbery/Homicide Unit assignment pay in addition to the corporal assignment stipend. All interested members must request transfer through their chain of command to Major Jon Tobeck. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member requesting transfer shall contact Lieutenant Richie Redman, via email, notifying him of the applicant’s interest in this position.
Closing date for memorandums will be no later than Sunday, June 22, 2025.
