The Patrol Operations Bureau- SWAT Team is accepting memorandums to establish an eligibility list for the SWAT Armored Vehicle Operator (AVO) position. The AVOs are responsible for operating, caring, and maintaining the Rook and GPV armored vehicles.
All interested members must complete a memorandum through their chain of command to Major Nick Lazaris, Patrol Operations Bureau. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member shall contact Sergeant Diebold via e-mail, notifying him of the applicant’s interest in the position.
Members who meet the minimum qualifications will attend an 8-hour tryout/interview process scheduled for January 21, 2025.
The closing date for applications will be no later than January 2, 2025.
