Funeral Contingent for Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Motor Unit Deputies

Our agency will be sending a contingent of certified agency members to West Palm Beach for the funeral of Corporal Luis Paez, Deputy Ralph Waller, and Deputy Ignacio Diaz, who were killed in the line of duty on November 21, 2024. The contingent will leave on Monday, December 2, 2024, and will be staying overnight in West Palm Beach. The funeral will be held on December 3, 2024, at 1100 hours. If you would like to represent the agency, please contact Lieutenant Kimon Koungras at kkoungras@pcsonet.com, after obtaining your supervisor’s approval. The uniform of the day will be the Class A long sleeve with tie, campaign hat, and black mourning band. Members interested in attending should notify Lieutenant Koungras no later than November 29, 2024.
