The Patrol Operations Bureau -SWAT Technical Response Team is accepting memorandums for assignment to the SWAT Unit to establish an eligibility list. Additional questions can be directed to Corporal David DeAngelo at (727) 580-2318 or ddeangelo@pcsonet.com
All interested law enforcement deputies must complete a memorandum through their chain of command to Major Nick Lazaris, Patrol Operations Bureau. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member requesting the transfer shall contact Sergeant Brian Diebold via email.
Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office who meet the qualifications will attend an 8-hour tryout/interview process scheduled for September 30, 2024.
The closing date for applications will be no later than September 19, 2024.
