DDC Support Services Specialist Unit Open Sergeant Position

The Department of Detention and Corrections is accepting memorandums for the position of Sergeant in the Support Services Division – Specialist Unit, to fill an opening and to establish an eligibility list. Applicants must submit a memorandum of intent through their chain of command to Captain Adam Kinzel.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
• Currently a Detention Certified Sergeant.
• Possess exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Member must be able to adapt to flexible schedules.
• Possess a mechanical aptitude.
• Prior administrative experience is desired, but not mandatory.
All interested members must complete a memorandum, through their chain of command to Captain Adam Kinzel. Upon submitting their request, the member will contact Lt. Debra Knighton, via e-mail, notifying her of the member’s intention. Members who meet the minimum qualifications will have their name certified to the resulting eligibility register. Closing date for applications will be no later than July 6, 2023.
