The Department of Detention and Corrections is accepting memos for the position of Corporal in the Support Services Division Specialist Unit, to fill an opening and to establish an eligibility list. Applicants must complete a memorandum of intent through their chain of command to Captain Kinzel.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
· Must meet eligibility requirements pursuant to General Order 6-03.9.
· Must be a current member of the Specialist Unit and able to work flexible hours.
· Possess a mechanical aptitude.
Members interested in applying for this position must submit a memorandum and PCSO Application Data Sheet via chain of command to Captain Kinzel. Upon submitting the memorandum and PCSO Application Data Sheet, the member shall contact Lieutenant Knighton via e-mail, notifying her of the applicant’s interest in the position. Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office who meet the minimum qualifications will have their name certified to the resulting eligibility roster. Closing date for applications will be no later than May 31, 2023.
