The SWAT Team is accepting memorandums to fill a vacancy and establish an eligibility list for the position of SWAT Armored Vehicle Operator (AVO). The AVOs are responsible with operation, care, and maintenance of the Rook and GPV armored vehicles.
All interested members must complete a memorandum through their chain of command to Major Nick Lazaris, Patrol Operations Bureau. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member shall contact Sergeant Diebold via e-mail, notifying him of the applicant’s interest in the position. Members who meet the minimum qualifications will attend an 8-hour tryout / interview process scheduled for April 24, 2023.
Closing date for applications will be no later than April 10, 2023.
