Lt. Helton Golf Tournament to Benefit Military Members

The Second Annual Lieutenant Helton Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, September 8, at 9:00 a.m. at the Bay Palms Golf Complex, 1803 Golf Course Avenue, Tampa. It is hosted by the 6th Security Forces Squadron of MacDill AFB. Deadline for registration is September 1. For more information visit https://6sfs-defenders-association.square.site/#LGjUfV
Lieutenant Helton was a 6th Security Forces Squadron Defender when he was deployed in 2009. Lieutenant Helton’s vehicle was hit by an IED and he was killed. After his death, his mother Jiffy started the Lieutenant Helton Foundation to keep his memory alive and to assist military members in his name. The organization has supported the Shadow Warrior Foundation, Fallen Heroes of Georgia, and the Walton County Veteran Memorial, to name a few.
